I have a Brembo 12mm master cylinder with single F08 caliper and noticed that when I finally managed to fully bleed the system the lever movement / travel once the brake pads have been pumped onto the disc is minimal. Is this normal for this combination?
Would a 11 mm master cylinder produce a little move lever movement / travel?

I have a 12mm Nissin master cylinder mated to a single F08 caliper and stainless braided line with the same results.
Little travel but great brakes.
Sorry, can't answer whether or not the 11mm master would help.

Hi Dean
Thanks for your reply and now I know that what I have done is correct for that combination of master cylinder and caliper. At the moment; I have a standard lever fitted and it a bit of a stretch for me and I am wondering if a dog leg lever would be beneficial?

i think the 12mm brembo with either the F08 or the P108 caliper, joined with stainless steel line and using galfer green pads is the best combo for you a GT or Sport....
excellent brakes, not much travel, but I like it that way

lockheed caliper
Has anybody tried combining a 12 mm brembo with a lockheed caliper ?
I see very little mentioning of the lockheed calipers fitted to the roundcase GT. Is that because its a bad caliper, or is it simply because it is rare ?
