Scrambler Tires

I am soon to be the proud new owner of a '70 450 SCR. The current tires are ancient so I would like to replace them, but I am having a problem finding anything on the net that looks like it will fit.

The manual shows 3.50-19 front and 4.00-18 rear. What does that translate to in modern metric sizing? Any recomendations for a dual sport (not too knobbie) of tire for the girl?
