Hey gang, I have a 65 250 that I am installing the Lacey Ducati 12v conversion. My question is, can I run it with a capacitor instead of a battery? This is popular on XS650's and other kickstart bikes and I would love to do it to this bike. It will have a switch for the lights so there would be zero draw during the kickstart. I guess Im wondering if the Lacey conversion is a permanent magnet style alternator.
