Searching for compatible regulator/rectifier for 350 Single

Post by MichaelMcFarland »

Hey friends! I'm new here, so be kind!

Working on an overhaul of my bike (a 1974 Condor A350, swiss military bike with mostly Ducati parts, including a 350 single, reportedly the same as used in the late 70s Scramblers - more about it here: http://michaelmcfarlandmusic.com/2012/0 ... y-kitchen/ ).

I'm searching for a new regulator/rectifier, haven't had any luck finding the exact part - are there any equivalent ones that can be found? Here are a few pictures (big, so linking instead of embedding):

Appreciate the help, thanks everyone!

Hi Michael,

Welcome to the Forum. I can't help you too much with sources local to you (have you tried DomiRacer, for example?); but if needs must, the ever-wonderful Amici dello Scrambler in Italy do a 6v 18A reg/rec.

Go:

If you have any trouble ordering one, let me know and I may be able to help you out.

Also, I see Barry Jones at Classic Ducati in UK has 6v reg/recs. Go:

Craig-

Thanks so much for the help! I wasn't positive if the one on Barry Jones site was compatible with 18a - sending them a message to be sure. Price for that is super reasonable, even with shipping costs.

Thanks so much for the help!
Michael
