Some people have too much time and money on their hands. This guys married up Desmo heads to his Hogley Ferguson. Actually the home page:

Thanks for the link, I found that quite interesting. There was a group within Ducati a while back that wanted to narrow the cylinder angle to enable the engine to be placed further forward to enhance the handling and quicken up the change of steering from side to side. Tradition won out and increased capacity recently saved the day. It would have been interesting.
