mototrans ducati

hi eveyone.im from the uk and have been after a ducati single for some time.ive come across a few (1964 175ts)but i think they are mototrans ducatis(spanish built)does anyone know anything about these.are they the same as the italian singles. :?:

Sorry for the late reply if you are still out there. Mick Walker's book Ducati Singles has a good discussion of Mototrans machines. The early 175s should be similar to their Italian equivalents, later models didn't necessarily incorporate the improvements made to Ducatis.

Singles made by Mototrans but badged as Ducatis were available in Spain during the 1970s and early 1980s. Some of these were pretty hot-looking and would make great bikes if you could find them.
