Post by Speedrocker »

Hello Folks,
i am searching for the taillight, seen in the pic,...maybe, someone of you can tell me about ? Or from which serial bike it will come?
I like that fine style and the harmony in place with the seat....
Thank you !

I´ve got the Honda Vf taillight now,...contur / outer form is ok,..but unfortunately , in the dimensions to large :(
...i am sure, it will give exact this taillight like on the picture above, installed on a japanese sport bike from the late 80`s - late 90`s...
...but i can´t remember, which bike it was... :?

I would look at Fiat or Lancia tail/marker lamps as it is unlikely Ducati went too far afield to source a lens for a limited production model.

Since the Honda 750 was meant for the worldmarket and "safety-features" in the states were very strict, I really doubt that the taillight was japanese.
The form is such that it would rather be on a 125 Italian bike from the 80's, with slim single-seats and very light weight to perform in the SP125 class.
Every year they would all bring out an update with at least 1 hp more and 1 kg less :-D
So I suggest You begin looking for pics of Fantic, Garelli, Gilera, Fantic, Morini, Aprilia, Laverda, Italjet and a few others I forget.
Even Honda had it's partly Italian-made NSR 125 racing in it.
I do have all those Motosprints from that era, unfortunately in storage.
But I'm sure goegel is Your friend -?-
