Image

I finally installed the new seat cover from Andy at Desmo.net. This is an incredible cover...great fit, and so close to the original you can't believe it!

Unfortunately, I have no idea about the damper. It was on the bike when I found it, along with the fuel taps that point down, which I am told are not original either. I will take some close up photos and post them, along with any identifying marke or labels. I am pretty sure the bike never left the ...

Seattle Italian Concours d'Elegance-September 4, 2005

I just entered my Darmah. It would be great to see few other Pacific NorthWest bevels out there!

http://xs38.xs.to/pics/05295/DSC00747.JPG The other new addition is the kickstart rubber. Steve Allen was looking at the bike at Laguna, and pointed out it was missing. I had no idea, because it was gone when I found the bike. Steve suggested the older "Sport" style rubber with the...

Campy decal resto

http://xs38.xs.to/pics/05295/DSC00749.JPG I finally got around to taking some pictures of the decals we made to recreate the original Campagnolo wheel decals. The originals were pad printed on a clear vinyl sticker. These repops are cut from black vinyl using a computerized sign cutting machine. Th...

Steve, Thanks for the kind words. I hope nobody thinks I am spouting sour grapes about the Concours. Quite the opposite. I am profoundly flattered by the comments of the 3 judges who voted for my garage restored Darmah. Major stroke for my ego! Peter, This brings up an interesting subject. The wheel...

I also installed a "new" pair of beautiful Del Lorto 32mm carbs from BevelHeaven. The original carbs were in rough shape, and not working as well as they should, so a call to Steve remedied the situation quite nicely :-D

The Darmah is now sporting a complete Works/Bevelheaven suspension package that includes fork springs and Billet Tracker shocks. This has transformed the bike into the most amazing corner strafing machine I have ever owned!

[img]http://xs37.xs.to/pics/05283/IMG_3061[1].jpg[/img] Time for an update! Since completing the Darmah last year, I have put about 1,500 miles on it, and rode it to 4 different shows. At Laguna '04, it received 2nd place. At The VME Show and Shine '04, 1st place. At Laguna MotoGP '05, 3 out of 4 j...

Darmah Ignition Repair Adventure

I recently went through a trouble shooting process on the ignition of my 1978 900SD Darmah, and Steve thought it would be helpful for me to share my experience with other Bevel Heads. So, here it goes… After finishing a long drawn out cosmetic restoration on my Darmah, I thought I was ready to fire ...
