Bleeding Scarab Master Cylinder
Hello Lads
I have rebuilt a Scarab master cylinder and have been trying to bleed it for a week or 2.
Does anyone have any tips? Unable to get any fluid down to the calipers and have tried a brake vacuum etc...
Cheers,
John

Hello Tom
PM me with your email and I can send you some detailed pics of the crossover shaft on my 1976 900SS.
It would be exactly the same I think.

Scarab/ Lockheed Re-sleeving and machining calipers
Hey guys I have just had Lockheed master and Scarab master re-sleeved with great success. Also they turned one Scarab caliper upside down (to go on the right hand side) and put in bleed nipples in the correct place. Also machined the calipers out to correct tolerances for the new anodised pistons ...

That could be a 500GTL bucket but not 100% sure. The 900SS should have a 19888 Aprillia most probably which is the same shape as the GT and early Sport...

The bike is an '72 with in the black fiberglass tank. Making up another set with a steel tank and repro side covers so looking at the metal flake for something different. It will be either orange or the blue? Any tips on what is the closest blue colour?

Thanks Kev and Ryan
Got a metal flake painter sorted.
Will soon be getting some orange paint matched from a 1971 GT tank so if anyone wants a litre or 2 let me let me know. No problemo

1972 Orange Metal Flake Colour Code
Hello...
Anyone have any clues on the orange/bronze metal flake colour of the early GTs?
After a paint code or name etc.
Cheers!
