Wanted - complete and preferably original fairing mounting kit for a 1973 Sport 750. I would like to pursue this route first, and failing that, will consider a good quality reproduction setup. Please advise on either.

The title says it all, would like the correct one for the year and model - the one that fits into the headlight shell. I don't mind used, will pay for NOS if thats what comes this way, the bottom line is it needs to be in working condition and correct for the bike.

For the 1973 Ducati Sport, who was the original manufacturer and what was the rating of the main front light bulb? Was it incandescent or halogen? This is obviously not for sealed beam.

Thanks much for the photos and your thoughts on the matter.
I will roll my Sport out of the garage tomorrow and will take a series of photographs for you of the battery tray. Expect them by late afternoon tomorrow (Tuesday).

The previous owner mounted the gasoline cap on the fuel tank of my 750 sport using RTV. I have removed the cap as I was concerned about safety and leakage. There is now just a clean flat metal surface that the cap was RTV'd to. I am taking the bike up to a fabricator/paint shop to do the job right ...

Thanks for the feedback, found the 25 amp fuses here locally at a vintage VW shop, didn't know that they had hi amp fuses like that, but the later VWs obviously did.

Can the membership direct me to a source of 25 amp fuses for my 1973 Sport 750? I have tons of 16 amp fuses from my vintage VWs.
