Thank you all, all those epoxies sound amazing, I guess new technology has brought adhesive to a new level....

I would The Devcon aluminum putty for cosmetic repair like bad welding etc.

and the Manley 40180 miracle seal for welding like repair, you think I can reattach broken cylinder fins with ...

Yup, looks like a bad casting from the start, oil gallery is right where the crack is ;-(

it does not affect anything, but oil pours out of there when engine is running...

I just mixed JB weld with reinforced aluminum shaving I took off some scrap aluminum pipe.... will find out how it holds this weekend...

Ummmm, there is at least 80psi of oil pressure in there, we need something more substantial to hold up in fairly good heat expansion... welding it back will be ideal but not the option for this season...

what epoxy paint you had in mind???

Darmah Rear cylinder barrel cracked at oil casting line...

Looks like some repair was done on the rear cylinder some time ago but wasn't welded right since cleaning of the oil inside cylinder wasn't done properly, creating oil to mix with the weld, and there you go... what is the best way to repair this sort of thing, its not the bore so I'm good, but oil ...

Yes, mine runs out of the side, I took side covers off as riding without them gives much more cooling to the engine... fitted gel seal type battery long ago...

my rear one is turned up and its basically touching the frame, very hard to get to top of the carburetor to adjust cable play. but at least I got my bigger battery in ;-)...

Any idea where I can get a PHM40's 60/1 slide replacement??? I need 2x of them...

mine are all worn out from running without ...

Can anyone explain me the numbers on the slide? I need to get new sliders for my PHM40 carbies, but need to get an understanding of the numbers, is 60/1 /2 /3 etc or 50/1 are those number in relation to the pump ramp? height and when to pump acceleration? can I make 50/1 a 60/1 with filling or ...

Is this a custom job or did ducati or after market companies used to make these manifold for the 53mm heads????

attached are pictures of my PHM40 mounted on special made 53mm conversion to accept PHM40??? I always thought you need the 58mm heads for the bigger intake flow...

Dell'Orto phm40 w/ hot Cams, and standard 86mm bore 78darmah

I have upgraded to Dell'Orto phm40 carbies on my 1978 Ducati darmah, and need some help in adjusting them, any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Not worried about my idle being at 1000rpm, 1500-2000rpm is fine just need mid-range and throttle respond as I have a performance Vee Two cams ...
