I got another old 2-stroke Ducati (Cadet 100 4-speed to go along with my Falcon 80 project) and wondered if the brain trust here has suggestions on lower smoke oils to use.

Being an older bike it takes between 16:1 and 20:1 mix (i.e. lots of oil compared to modern 2-strokes). Actually the manual ...

I think it's worth nothing, sell it to me immediately so I can take it off your hands, haha.
I got a Falcon 80 a couple years back and paid about $1200 USD for it, so give a few hundred to yours, since it's really nice.

Maybe you could send me some pics of how to shifter cables are hooked up etc ...

I saw this picture of a Falcon 50 from the Eyes On Design event in the Detroit area. Any idea who did the restore, if so I'd like to talk with them about where they sourced replacement parts...as I'm restoring a Facon 80. Thanks!

Not sure, I have yet to treat the tank for rust...I'm lazy, I know.
I also need to check all the controls as there is no attachment for the clutch (at the hand) and the throttle sticks. One of these days I'll get it running though.

The bike looks GREAT. One thing, the paint (as you can probably tell) is not stock. I believe it orriginally had black fork-tubes, frame and swingarm; silver toolbox, and fenders. It also had a really cool paintjob on the tank. One of these days I'll post a pic of my Falcon...basically the same bike ...

Depends on what size motor you have...I think they made an 80-90-98cc version. Does yours have the fan cooler? It is VERY similar to the Falcon, only with different exhaust, handlebars and tires :D
