Roundcase dry clutch

I see Bevel Rubber has a roundcase dry clutch available now. Looks good and covers are Magnesium. Why would you make the cover from Magnesium?

Bevel Rubber does and excellent re sleeving job. He shrink fits a stainless sleeve and re-anodizes the body. Very neat job.

Headlight re-silvering

Well according to Damien it's actually an aluminium coating. Got my headlight back, it looks like a new one!! It took a little while but well worth it. :-)

Idiot lights

I bought some of those lights from Classic Italian Bikes and found that the chrome chips off very easily. The other thing is that they are a sealed unit, the led inside is not easily serviceable.

Conti exhaust clamps are back

If there are any people looking for some conti exhaust clamps, I just ordered 2 sets from Bevel Rubber (www.bevelrubber.com.au). They have done a small run of both M's and R's, quality is fantastic as usual!
Regards,
Dave.

I think the reason the roller big ends fail is because of the lack of proper filtration. Most Jap bikes have a paper filter after the pump that filters ALL the oil to the crank and cams. 1970's Kawasaki's changed quite a bit from roller to plain and back to roller. They tend to believe that their ...

Should be 50mls of 5 weight oil. The kits that Bevel Rubber has are for 10mm shocks with the normal type nut on the reservoir although they can machine the crimped type for you as well. I just ended up giving my shocks to them, they installed some eyelet rubbers too.

I don't have my '75 anymore but from pictures I see that the shocks had 5 spring preload setting, my Sport has only 3 like in your pictures. So that is another difference. The length from eye to eye was 305mm on both. For riding the Marzocchis are very hard on your back, Koni's or Ikons are much ...

Martin, pretty sure the DesmoKid is right, they are shocks that were on later Sports, 750SS's and the 1975 SS's, The early Sports were different at the base, and the later (than '75) were different at the top. Pitty about the ding in the top, they might be able to be repaired though. Dave

Problem with silver is that it will tarnish after awhile, you know, like silver plated cutlery.

I've been looking around for somewhere to restore the correct finish on the reflector, anyone have any ideas? Apparently it's a type of aluminum coating, silver or chrome are not really correct, so I'm told.
