The reason why i had those thoughts about the plate mounting is as follow

If my plate is set a third of a rotation wrong =120 degrees , the L cylinder =90 degrees with the setting BTDC aprox 34 degrees =124 degrees maybe thats why my front cylinder runs on spark ment for the rear???

the problem which tricked me to the o ring thoughts was a previous owner make a cirkel(2mm) cut down on both head and cylinder top for placing a (thin copper?)ring for gasket (same as a place for an o -ring) i have them mounted back as i re checked the surfaces ...
