Diameter of 900 bevel twin header pipes?
Can someone with a vernier calipers and an accessible Ducati 900 bevel twin be good enough to measure the outside diameter of their stock header pipes?
Thanks in advance,
Dave

Hi Jon, thanks for the reply. Yes, the speedo drive spacer is fitted and I was very careful not to squeeze the fork legs. I found that the caliper would need moving outwards - not inwards – to centralise the wheel in the fork. That is, 1 mm would need to be shaved off the caliper mounts. However, I ...

Wheel alignment: Late singles and early twins
A question on wheel alignment for those who have original, unmolested machines, either late model single Desmos with 35 mm Ceriani forks and a single 4 bolt Brembo disc and caliper, and maybe 750 twins with the same parts.

Ceriani dampers

Ducati single instruments
A few years ago, I posted a question about Ducati single clocks. I got no answer, but I'll try again.
Can anyone tell me the drive ratios for the speedometer and rev counter fitted to the late model Ducati singles? There are a few makes of 60 mm replacement clocks available but these may not be the ...

Question: After-market clocks for singles
Can anyone tell me the drive ratios for the speedometer and rev counter fitted to the late model Ducati singles? There are a few makes of 60 mm replacement clocks available but these may not be the right ratio for Ducati singles. For example, one replacement speedometer I saw has a ratio on the dial ...

If you have a Darmah, it's a desmo. Let's assume for the moment that your valve timing is correct. Desmo engines appear to have poor compression when kicked over. Compression increases when the engine is running and the gas pressure inside the combustion chamber snaps the valves onto their seats ...
