I am in need of a chain guard and stock seat cover for my 1974 750GT. The chain guard is missing and the seat cover shot. I have not seen these listed on spares web sites.

Engine builder in Northern Ca.?
I just purchased a 1974 750GT and want to have the engine and trans refreshed/rebuilt. Any suggestions for a good mechanic to do this in Northern Ca.? I am on the coast, in Arcata.

55,000 miles on 74 GT, cost of rebuild?
I have located a 74 GT 750 that has not run in several years. It has 55,000 miles on the motor with no signs of rebuild. Bottom end was caked with oil and dirt. Owner says it started when he bought it five years ago.
