Hi Martin,

Just rechecked the size of my comp plate.

Its way way bigger then what shows in steves pic,so obviously if its small like in the pic its meant for downtube.

Steering head plate is at least 40mm wide and 70-80 mm long.Hope this helps ya out.

hi Martin,

Mines at the top of steering stem,when you look at bike from front on,its right underneath top triple clamp(on stem) hope this makes sense?.

Hey Steve,

What about trying fishing rod grips,the one you need to look at is called HYPERLON black grip comes in all sorts of sizes and can be stiffened to suit what you need,also can be drilled no worries.

Its not rubber but dense foam,may do the job but ??.Dont think it would look to out of ...

Me, well i use leather fingerless,i like to feel the lever on bare fingers,cant use any other glove.

Would be like putting a condom on for those occasions that have nutthin to do with DUCATI"S.:)

Hi Grant,

I had my shocks (81 MHR) rebuilt by these guys a few months ago with excellent results.

They may be able to help you out with kits? and what oil etc to use.

g'yday all,

Im having a few problems with my 81 MHR back wheel.First one i need to sort is the bushs (part no 0797.80.280) that hold the alloy swingarm brackets ,one has a small "lip" on the inside face-not sure which side it came off disc or cush drive side ??.

other problem is,i renewed rear ...
