Fab paintwork!
These guys are quite local to me so may be a good choice as well - thanks.
By the way where did you get that seat done? I need mine re-covering and also "filled out" coz they are a bit shallow.

Re: ssd paint
Hi all
It's been a while since I have been on the forum.
Looking to get my SSD back to original blue colour - it's black/gold at the moment. Can anyone recommend a UK bike painter in the UK who could be entrusted with my Bevel?
I don't have detail of Dennis Motorcycles.
Thanks for any help.

Fitting Dyna Coils and HT Leads to SSD
Hi
Have purchased some new Dyna 5 Ohm ignition coils to my 1980 SSD and intend to replace the HT leads.
My question is, are the 5 Ohm coils OK as a straight swap for the original units?
Can I use non-resistor/supressor HT leads?
Do I keep the ignition resistor/ballast units - or are they part ...

Another thing!!
Hey Steve
I sent you an e mail the other day regarding "straight" inlet manifold for the rear cylinder - similar to the MHR.
I am now using an Odyssey battery from my 1997 900SS in my SSD and it has saved a lot of space.
Do you do them?

Darmah SSD Later style footrests
Hi
I would be very interested on buying a set of the "later style" footrests/brackets etc for my SSD - I have a 1980 which uses the early style - they break my knees!!!

KM7 Sprocket Locknut Torque
Hi
I am just getting round to changing the front (countershaft) sprocket on my SSD, also having the dreaded oil weep. I have a new KM7 locknut and the Bevelheaven "tool".
Can anyone recommend a torque setting?
Also is their anywhere that contains general torque settings for fasteners on my SSD ...

Hi
Would like to say hello to all BevelHeads!
Just acquired a 1980 SSD - in pretty decent condition but planning to get the old girl back to her original blue colour scheme (currently black/gold).
Would like to hear from any SSD owners - especially from UK.
