I ran 2 identical japanese motorcycles for 100 000 km each on the same maintainence program, one on leaded and one on unleaded fuel
The manual recomended leaded fuel only.
I did a valve job on the one that ran leaded at 60k and nothing to the one i ran on unleaded..

In one of Ian faloons books he mentions some 900ss cases were stamped with the letter "D" handy to the engine number. The comment he makes about it is that these cases had a different than standard centre gasket fitted..
Who knows anything about this??? My cases have the letter D stamped on them ...

Would 3-6 thou be the same preload I should go for on my crankshaft on my 79 900ss.
