The seat is a tank....and weight up high is the most important. So get a fiberglass seat. Go to an ion battery like the dirt bikes use, a huge difference in weight and you are still running with a proper battery....a guy advertises on ktmtalk.com makes a great one.

The gears (I don't remember if it's all of them) have 3 long and 3 short dogs. Short dog engagement has far less bearing area and can result in "slipping" during acceleration, followed by long dog engagement, which won't slip. I tried to post this message once, don't know where it went!
Just rebuil the PHF's, but it will only run on choke.....spits, coughs, backfires through carbs when choke is off. Goes way lean.
Jetting is per Ducati restoration guide.
Both carbs getting fuel.
New fuel.
