Peddle bike shops sell a teflon aerosol cable lube that will get right in there.

Holy dog doodie Chris - that's a lot of parts. Your wife will never see you again.

BTW - that speedo/tacho bracket looks like one off of a 750 Sport.

Have you found a cover yet?

I have one that was a take-off from my 1990 750 Sport. It sounds like what you need.

And I thought that CA was the worst for air quality. We don't have to smog our old stuff (pre-1976) here.

1990 750 Sport clutch slave cylinder

Has anyone done a re-build of the piston for this puppy? It looks like a seal and a bearing are all that's required. I don't want to destroy the seal without having a new one on hand.

Part numbers anyone?

IMHO they are superior to the original open bearings. Modern bikes use the sealed units exclusively. Just consider it an upgrade. When installing them be sure to press them in by applying force to the outer race only. Pushing on the inner race can damage 'em. Putting them in the freezer for a while ...

Yes - the battery was hooked up the bike while connected to the BT. I have stopped using the BT on the 73 Sport. I now do a periodic overnight trickle charge. No problems since.

BTW - I am still using the Interstate. Might as well use up the warrantee.

Nice pics Ivan. I wish I could have been there but SoCal is a long haul. I just had to settle for the Rock Store.

Competition is the dealer that sold my 73 Sport to my now deceased friend, Phil Rozine. I bought an 81 Honda 900F from them. A real old time shop. They sold guns and stuff. I did not think they were still in business.

90 Sport (I know, it's not Pre-85)16" to 17" rim c

I have been trying to adapt a pair of 17" CBR rims to my 90 sport. Michelin has not made any tires made for it recently and does not plan on manufacturing any until the end of April. (2 months ago they said the end of March.) Contacts on the Big Ducati List suggested that CBR600 F2 rims are a p...

Yo Steve - My terminals have always been real clean. I put the Interstate on a conventional charger and brought it back to life. It is now hooked up to the BT and appears to be holding. I picked up the Westco but have not fitted it yet. I have been trying to adapt a pair of 17" CBR rims to my 9...

Wanted - a lead on 16" Michelins for a 90 Sport

M59X M59X Front 130/60 ZR 16 (58 W) TL Rear 160/60 ZR 16 (68 W) TL Michelin keeps putting off the production of these tires and I have not started adapting the CBR600 rims I bought for this bike. If anyone has a lead on where I could find a set, I would be most appreciative. I have tried all of the ...
