Thanks Steve - been really busy and just checked this site. I talked with Rich at Motofinesse last week and I going to have him redo it after he returns from Italy in June.
I was impressed in talking with Rich - the guys literally knows Ducatis inside and out.

'72 750 motor rebuild
Have a '72 750 GT with close to 100K miles on it, that I would like to have the motor rebuilt - motor was last run 12 to 15 years back, but ran then and I still spin it over regularly (not frozen).
Wanted to do this myself, but am far too busy - any recommendations for a good shop that could handle ...

I called Syd's in Florida today (1/12/06) and they have all the parts for a complete rebuild of the '72 750 GT. When my wife relents and gives in, I will write a tech report on effective groveling and begging.

Been researching articles on epoxies for fiberglass tanks and it seems ethanol can be a problem for them.
Anyone have any experience and advice in restoring them?
