burrs are usually the culprit here and I often need to break out the emery or fine flat file to dress things up. Glad you got things sorted.

It's probably more important to do so maintenance first before trying to 'correct' something by changing factory settings or installing a hotter plug to possibly mask the issue. My advice: 1 pull carbs, clean and replace everything soft inside. 2 replace intake manifold insulators 3 replace exhaust ...

more oil drains down into the front cylinder than can drain out. So it is typical for oil to drain down past worn guides and/or guide seals into the cylinder when you stop, and then get a bunch or smoke at startup and for a bit....

doesn't bolt to anything. That said on every bevel I have restored I set things up then zip tied it where I wanted it to stay (loosely).

how do you want it measured? Around the outside of the bend? From where the flat contacts the rubber intake manifold or to also include the extended bit that sits inside the intake manifold insulator?
