Many modern synthetic oils have 'friction modifiers' that can cause wet clutches to slip but more importantly can also cause the roller bearings in big ends to skid. I've been to see the bike now and can only describe it as immaculate ! It looks like it has been stood around for a while (such low mileage) but must have been stored somwhere very dry because there is no rust on it anywhere. Even the inside of the petrol tank looks like new. I'm ...
