Well I've been around for a while but bikes have taken a back seat for the last couple of years.

After 20 years of marriage and no kids we had given up so when Oliver came along we got one hell of a shock !

He's two now and in nursery a couple of days a week so the bikes are getting a bit more ...

I have a BMW 1150GS for my daily ride and a member on the GSer forum had the bike for sale. http://ukgser.com/home/
I'm trying to trace the history of the bike, the date of first reg was 22/04/1980 here in the UK.

Bought this 1980 SS a couple of weeks ago.
21k miles from new, starts second kick !
Just waiting for the good old British weather to warm up so I can get out for a ride.

Hi Steve,
picked up the carbs on the friday morning from Downtown Fort Myers Postal depot thanks again.

When I got home I had a message about a guy who wanted to sell his ss.
I contacted him and well, to cut a long story short I now own 2 1980 900ss bevels !
Here's the new bike.
I have the side ...
