Andy,
As soon as I can I'll respond with some pictures of my homework that will give a good look on the spots. The rear shock springs had the very same paint finish as the front fork and the roundcase covers. So if you are busy with it you can do them the same time.
I'll be back soon 8)
See you ...

paint job
hello Conti mental,
Didn't I mention that the surface has to be sprayed in black in advance
and after that has dryed a little you can screw the pressure down to finish it with the 'little' drops. With high pressure you obtain a very little drop just like a kind of fog or damp, but with very ...

OZ Duck,
In words the job looks more than it is in praktice. I think that when there is a production line of forks and enginecases you just begin spraying them black(don't try to do it carefully, it is just like a primer, it just needs some color) and after that return to the first object, which has ...

authentic crincle look
Geoff, Max, Dog, Ryno, Tony, OZ,
In my opinion you all think wrong when you talk about a 'crinkle' paint.
Just take a very carefull look at what is left of the original job and what do you see! Not paint that has schrinked whith a skin that looks like when we have lived to be a hundred years ...

Bevel Heads,
Your problems were mine too a couple of years ago and I spent some time to figure it out. And I am willing to give the secret away.
In my search for the right effect on the front fork and roundengine-cases of the Yellow Sport 74 there were no proffesional painters who could help me. In ...

S2
Hello Radecal and Peter,
Thanks for the answers  I think we are all dying species but until then I don't have the intention to chop my bike and leave it the way it is. Actually I don't dislike the looks, just think its a pretty thing with exposed and round cases. On a trip from Haarlem to ...
