Looking for a dual seat for my 1980 900ss.

My wife is not happy that I bought one with only the single seat.

My newly acquired 1980 900ss clearly seems to have an incorrect front wheel spindle. Can anybody let me know the correct overall length of the spindle and the length of the larger diameter segment?
