Re: Clutch Slave Cylinder O-Ring

I ordered 10 EPDM O-rings: 31MM ID and 4 MM Cross-section for $47 and they came in the standard Hardness (70) but feel less pliable/stiffer than the original. An hydraulics service fellow thought the original was probably a 60 hardness. But the 60s are more expensive 4.60 ea with a minimum order of ...

I found a source for an EPDM (brake fluid safe) O-ring of those metric dimensions but see that they come in different hardnesses: 40, 50, 60, 70, 75 ...

I found an EPDM (brake fluid safe) O-ring of those dimensions but see that they come in different hardnesses ...

F1A hydraulic clutch

I need to remove the clutch slave cylinder piston and bearing inside the clutch cover.

Don't have the tools so I'll take it to a shop, but there are no Ducati shops within 200 miles of here.

I presume the bearing is first pulled out with a small (8mm) puller. True?

Does this require heat to be ...

Hello from South Dakota, USA 750 F1

Joined this forum hoping to get advice and tips on how to revive a 1986 750 F1. It's the 1st time I've joined any on-line forum cause I'm an oldie... I remember "You ain't nothing but a hound dog" playing on the radio. It will take some time for me to learn how to navigate this venue. The bike has ...
