Yes, here in northern germany, the humidity is also a problem for all fine things who can rot and rust !
..and ,..12000 miles on the front wheel is a lot !...You ride long distances , ( as i have read about here),with your fine Duc, my respect!!

Hi Gardner, yes, that´s damn normal on those cast-iron brake discs...better don´t let them get wet ;-) ...and not sooo many curves on your way behind, he?....there´s a lot of space over that "roadrider" logo :-D keep on riding !,..... i am pretty sure, you´ve made a lot miles more than me ...

I also enjoy it, to ride my MHR at dry weather..!
But to be frank: More than max 400 km`s on a day, i can´t,...than i`m totally exhausted, especially my left hand and lower arm :-D

...one of the last guys, who are ride up really much miles on an L-shaped bevel twin, my respect!

Nice, clear and cool report!
I´ll keep it in my mind,..whenever i `ll have some serious trouble with my orign. ignition-system, i will probably change it to an Sachse system...

7 months after buying, ..and of course some troubleshooting, fumbling and soft restoring, i`ve got my registrations here.
3 kicks, and the lady was reanimated, with a cool roaring from breathing by the contis and open veloctity stack :-D
First 200 Km´s are behind us now.

Today, by a friend, we´ve find out on 2 bevel 900 Duc´s : The "way" is about 2.35 - 2,4 mm , measuring on the presure-plate...!

Hello Wdietz186,

..nearly 2 mm ist exact the way of the pressure-plate, that i´ve measured out on the pressure-plate, left side, und inspection cover...is that enough to separate all clutch-plate from each other ???...I´ve thought, it must be a minimum of approx 5-6 mm ???

everythings allright,..i just want to know: How long is the way, that the rods ( through the gearshaft) and pressure plate make, while actuating the clutch lever !

Clutch working way to separate on a 900 square case

Can anybody tell me the real working range of the clutch compressor plate , while actuating the clutch lever on handlebar, 900 square case bosch ? ( When you open the little inspections cover on left side, to adjust the clutch , you see the pressure plate separates and pressed the clutch plates,.......
