Re: Drum Brake sprocket carrier re-assembly
Thanks Steve - I did take a peek at that but perhaps took the reference to disc brake rear too literally having had limited experience and not knowing if the drum carriers were any different. That said, your little sign off did perfectly capture my feeling after discovering the remains of the old ...

Re: 1974 750GT Down Under
Hi Rob from a fellow GT restorer in Victoria,
Tasty photos and am on board with you as far as the subtle mods are concerned. Frame looks a treat as does the finish work on the rear hub (recently finished my hub/sprocket assembly). Frame, swingarm and accessories are being 2-pac'd this week.

Re: Drum Brake sprocket carrier re-assembly
Hi Folks and many thanks for the replies.
Just to clarify, the spacer is that which is located within (I believe) the sprocket carrier and not the wheel hub. Whilst I do admit that my photo-documenting of the tear down was a bit tardy, I was very diligent in bagging up items and the dang spacer was ...

Drum Brake sprocket carrier re-assembly
Greetings from Oz,
I’ve fallen victim to not documenting my disassembly sufficiently and am hoping someone can steer me in the right direction.
I’m doing the re-assembly of the sprocket carrier on my 750GT and am querying the spacer/bush that I assume sits between the 2 carrier bearings. As the ...
