I'm looking for some original cases for my '75 900SS - Mine were scrapped due to a gearbox failure in the '77 TT.

Sad to say, I'm on the lookout because I'm under orders to sell the bike to fund a house extension, and I guess the GTS cases it's currently wearing may affect its attractiveness.

Looks a lot like a post-'76 frame, too - the silencer hangers are a big giveaway, ne c'est pas?

As it says, I need a kickstart for my '75 model 900SS.
This version has a similar hinge arrangenment to the earlier 750SS but with a straight lever - see pic below.
I have a mint later version, freshly rechromed by S&T in the UK which I'd be happy to trade.

Unfortunately, I've since discovered that one bike was light blue (as per the fairing), so one set is being reworked

Interesting post...likewise, I only just spotted it!

I first did a paintlob on my '75 900SS around 23 years ago, and the 'desmo', 'ducati' and '900 supersport' decals I bought back then were rub-down transfers. They were nice and thin and although they did stand a little proud of the paintwork ...

Have you tried a different grade plug - I run B7HS on my ss, and I'm tempted to go down to a B6HS.....It always seems to be the rear cylinder that fouls plugs; maybe a result of the different pipe length.
I noticed a while ago that the LH (rear) silencer puts out cooler gases than the front, even ...

I put Ikons on last year.

Steve's stuff looks the mutts nuts, but postage & duties to the UK make it a bit non-viable, which is a pity.

Anyway, the Ikons absolutely transformed the handling of my SS, but showed up the front end for the bag of **** that it was, due to the springs having sagged over ...

I just went and had another look at what's in the garage...
I've got a -24 ready to go on the other bike and comparing it to the -23 I'd say the bends are identical, but the -24 is maybe 5mm longer at the rear.

My '75 ss pipes are 0775-84-023 and -028.

I know from experience that the later pipes don't fit the '75 model

I've previously commented on the '75 blues, but here goes...
My roadworthy example had straight dark blue trim - I colourmatched it from the original decal on the front mudguard: I managed to cut back the yellowed lacquer to get to the 'fresh' colour, so I'm confident ;) it's a good match...
