Fairing Indicators for early MHR, Pantah, S2

Post by Dob8604 »

I'm after a set of complete fairing indicators for 1981 MHR (appears to be the same for Pantah and S2 model). I've read they are a spare part from Fiat but can't find anything worldwide or the suppliers ran out of stock years ago.
If they are extinct can anyone suggest a similar replacement. They look just like common door indicators from a truck. A google image search reveals plenty of similar lights, even modern LEDs.

Having done my usual check to make sure I'm not treading on Steve's toes....are these what you're after?

Thanks, they look Ok but a bit pricey at $146AUD for a pair delivered. Also states they are shop soiled and sides may not be from the same manufacturer.
I'd like to replace the ones on the MHR but also need them for my Pantah 600SL. Since my Pantah has the indicator holes filled in when the fairing was painted I'm considering fitting flush ones of the same shape on the outside with just a small drill hole to feed the wire through. It's a common shape for truck clearance/indicator lights so I might look around before ordering.

You need to search eBay Italy for Fiat 850 parts:

These are exactly what you need, and include the rare rubber surrounds, and they are brand new.
I saw a second-hand set of orignal Pantah indicators with rubber surrounds a couple of weeks ago go for at least double the price of the above listing.
I bought a set without the rubbers for my 600SL restoration, they were exact match to my tatty orignals but brand new.

Cheers,
John

Thanks that's exactly what I need.
I guess as long as parts are available for these old Fiats then we'll be OK for front indicators.
