@ Radecal, do you have the new partnumber?
I'll be interested to have two spare sets for my Mille, just in case...

Yes, direct replacement. I have already fitted them to my Mille and run them in. No problems. They are correct for the later belties with 88mm bores and supersede the old Mille number in the parts lists.
I got the numbers from a reliable source ie. Arthur Davis (who sent the sets to me as well)
Regards,

Re: MHR Mille pistons
Good to see you are getting close to finishing the "disaster" recovery.
Head cleaned up ok considering the damage.

$800NZ to get to that point and 25 hours of his time, luckily I'm paying "mates rates" and not full workshop ratesradecal wrote:Good to see you are getting close to finishing the "disaster" recovery.

There's still a barrel to replate (maybe two) and I'm tossing up about a bottom end strip while it's this far apart, more to check the rod on that cylinder than for any other reason

Know how you feel. Only just finished doing the heads (new valves, guides) and rings recently and now looks like the cases will have to be split due to a gearbox issue. Bloody frustrating but will look at a crank refresh while it's down.
