Clearance for roller bearing?

Post by Per Garbos »

Hi, I am restoring my 250 widecase Desmo, and i am trying figure out, what bearing clearance for my engine will be the best.
The bearings for camshaft and crankshaft has to be with C3 clearance but what about the gearbox. The old bearings in the gearbox seems to be a mix between C3 clearance and the more tight standard clearance.

What will be the right choice for an old engine ..C3 ?

I always used C3 on singles. They were notoriously tight.
