Price seems quite favourable compared with 'original' parts.

Being as the squarecase filter is a partial flow setup the quality of the filter isn't too critical.As long as it doesn't disintegrate it should be OK. I'd still change the oil every 1000mi. or so to be safe. Oil is much,much cheaper than a crankshaft.

That was my feeling - it's really only a 'token' filter isn't it! Just OK to catch the big lumps and small children I suspect, given such a limited flow with the standard pump (I've considered the high volume one but cash flow restricts)
