Michelin Pilot Activ tires

Post by thessler3 »

The tires on my 1973 750GT were getting hard and dry rotted. I have had good luck with Michelin Pilot Road and Michelin sportbike tires, so I decided to try Michelin Pilot Activ tires on the GT. They are available in 3.25X19 and 4:00X18 sizes and have a round profile. I like them better than the Continentals or Metzelers I had on the bike previously. Of course tires are a personal choice, but I just wanted to tell others I like these tires. They are relatively inexpensive too at just over $200 for the pair from Revzilla near Phila. Pennsylvania with free shipping in USA.

Hi, thanx for sharing. I am wondering if they fit well under the front fender. The Pirelli on my GT does not fit nicely leaving a lot of clearance between the tire and front fender.
