I decided to repost this on this site. I am having problems with clutch drag on my 74 750 GT. I just had new clutches and springs put in and it made no difference. the adjustments seem to be in order and the clutch cable is new. Is there another thing I can try?

Mine sticks when the bike is parked for a couple of days or more and can feel like drag.
Now I always pull the clutch lever in and kick the motor over to free the clutch, before starting the engine. This can some time take two or three kicks.
Once it is freed then I dont have any problems.
The stronger clutch springs that I got from Phil Hitchcock mean that the clutch never slips, but it seems to stick!
I think that the type of oil that you use may have an effect - I run Duckhams 20/50.
