Just run Valve saver in your tank all bevels suffer the same fate ,
Or you have gone this far what's another $500 for guides and valves ;)

Gum, The valve seats on bevels are a silicon bronze composition and don't suffer from the erosion that cast iron seats are prone to.Most of the wear on the seats is from unfiltered air and the springer valves bouncing on the seats.A careful valve job will likely be all that is needed unless your valve guides are whipped. The valve saver/lead replacement won't hurt and may raise the octane a bit if the local fuel is iffy.So don't fret too much. I have a 75 750 with about 50k miles and it's been run on unleaded for about 30k of that and it runs fine.
