Hi Fellow Ducati nuts.
My name is Wayne & I live in Sydney Australia
I'm really new to the restoration game.
I learned to ride at 12 & had fun in the dirt for a few years till the money ran out & I discovered the opposite sex or was it the other way around ?
So 40 years on I'm looking to get a road licence so I can ride my restoration when its finished.
Unfortunately finished is a long long way off.
I saved the Ducati off a trailer on the way to the rubbish dump about 40 years ago,my father recently told me to do something with it or throw it away.
So WE are restoring what I believe to be a VERY late 1957 or very early 1958 125 bevel drive.
It is a basket case with parts everywhere in his garage.
It looks like we have all the tin ware most in good condition for a 60 year old bike that has been kicked around for 40 years.
The frame is all there just been painted 4 or 5 times in different colours,
the wheels are the original alloys, but they need some lover & spokes might help too,
the engine is the problem with a broken ring, really worn big end bearing and on it's 3rd rebore.
Besides all that its in good shape !
So anyone with info on very early bevel drives I'm out to get you & your knowledge
Wayne
