Recently picked up a 1978 SSD Darmah and look forward to doing some work on it to get it up to scratch.
Look forward to speaking with other owners and gain some knowledge.
cheers Brad

Re: Hi from Sydney Australia
Hi Steve,
Thank you for the message. Good to know someone saw the post. I believe mine is a 1978. One of the first built The Australian Compliance Plate is marked 12/78. It is my understanding that the ADR plate is attached at the factory. I know reading Ian Falloon's book that a batch came to Australia very soon after release. As I understand the ones for the Australian market had speedo's marked with kilometres only which mine has. So far I have traced all owner history back to about 1988. Still working on the first owner.
It has the rear mounted rear sets of the earliest version. BTW I am the guy who just bought a seat cover from you. Cheers Brad
