Good morning from the UK

Post by KUD1980 »

Hi everyone from sunny Wiltshire in the UK , just joined the forum, been looking at it for some while. Thought it about time I registered. Been a bevel twin owner since 1977, a 750GT then a new 900SS in 1980. The first couple of years ownership of the 900 was my daily driver and reliable it was too. These days I ride when I want hence the bike has done less than 30K miles. The only serious problem in those miles was with the crankshaft bearings, the fibre bearing cages swelled up, the engine felt like it was seizing. The bike was off the road for about three years while I sorted that out and made some modifications to the gearbox.
