Hello to all. Signing in from Australia. I have loved and owned Ducati's since the mid 70's. As we all know, time flies, and now is the time to finally restore the 73 450 desmo. Newspaper that carefully wrapped up the bike parts when I stripped it down show a 1991 date - hmmm time to get cracking. I purchased a 250 about ten years ago, so I can go on Sunday rides. I have 69 Mk3 Desmo that I purchased with the intention
of restoring it - but haven't - and have given the wife the go ahead to sell it to assist funding the restoration. I will never sell the other bikes and when my knees or other body parts crap out and I can no longer ride I am going to wall mount the bikes as works of art. I would have liked to
posted a photo but I can't quite work out how to do that. AL[/img]

Hello David, thanks and thanks for the photo of your lovefest resto.
The other photos you have posted in the gallery will not load.
It is incredibely rare to to find someone who has bought and kept one
of these bikes from new. Do you have any photos of the bike from 1974?
I have posted an enquiry in the help section and lots of lookers, but
only one reply, don't feel it's correct.
I do need some assistance, I'll take some photos rather than write a epic novel and post that.
The paintwork is finished, I'll post that tonight.
Too many photos are barely enough, please post some more. thanks again.

Oh yeah they've all gone offline. I'll install a swag of new ones, after I get back from BCW (big camping weekend), on Tuesday ish. The little darling was metalflake silver and called a 450SS for awhile (I was young... ). I'll post a series, including kitchen shots in millions of bits. Cheers. David
