Here is the corkscrew foto I took at this years USGP. The entire MotoGP field in the shot, along with the TV helicopter. I liked it alot, and so did Cycle World.

What do you think?

You know when you see the race on TV ,the camera does not do the track justice , just like our Bathurst race trace ,most overseas viewers would die if they had to walk around the track it is that steep , your shot here shows the same steepness and what an accelerating thrill it must be ride down it flat out in 2nd or 3rd gear .........Mind blowing thanks for the pic.

Took the words right out of my mouth, its fantastic that this track is still in use unlike Bathurst, its now fully set for cars with concrete walls completely surrounding it,when it was used for bikes in the 50 years at Easter it was a religious experience to attend,I went for the last 12 years,
to watch the bike drop of Skyline in mass,it was like a cliff going down,it
even took a couple of years for Mr Rossi to come to grips with the corkscrew, its now completely alien for riders to race on anything with BIG
height changes.

agree with that
didnt know rossi ever rode bathurst
i think bathurst became like isle of mann
to dangerous for modern gp bikes-a lot of top riders started opting out in the 80's
a bit like monaco-no good for f1 these days
