NO LONGER FOR SALE - 1977 Moto Guzzi LeMans MK1 (850cc)

Post by Osred »

Offering a beautiful, original and rare motorcycle with left side damage from 2008 accident. Right side of bike is perfect. Pretty easy to get back on the road, but I don't have the time. Original mileage 47K, Engine # 072945. WA state collector's license plate (no registration renewal required). Sale includes box of extra parts, manual, reference materials and records/receipt from May 1980 to present.

Prefer local sale (Seattle, Washington, USA), but willing to ship within the continental United States.

Price firm. $4K USD.

After four years of dormancy, I finally resurrected my Le Mans. She started right up and moves down the road as I fondly remembered.

Here is what was done:

- Replacement heads/cylinders from 1978 Le Mans with 29K miles
- New valves, guides, valve springs
- New exhaust headers and Lafranconi mufflers
- Replacement foot controls (pegs and shift lever) on left side
- New fork tubes

Here are a couple of photos of her current disposition:

There are still some dents in the tank, as well as superficial damage to handlebar controls, headlight assembly, front fender, side panels, faring and windscreen, but everything works well and looks fine. I do have a replacement faring (unpainted) and windscreen, but will wait until another day to paint them once the tank is either repaired or replaced.

I appreciate everyone's interest when this was for sale, but I now think I'll hold on to her for a while longer.

Cheers!
