Well the flecks of metal in the oil are not brass but aluminum. (See other "quiz" thread)
Looking at them through the oil made them look brass in color.
This is where they came from but I don't know what caused it
The bevel gearing on the clutch basket has chewed on the clutch cover.
Or something has been picked up by the gears and thrashed around in there. The gears look good.
I'm going to check tomorrow to see if the clutch center hub nut has come loose.
There does not seem to be any other damage. I ran a magnet around in the sump to see what it would pick up but got almost nothing.
If anyone else has seen this I'd like to hear about it.
Thanks, Dean

Dean, the clutch basket became loose - a somewhat common thing. Make sure you use a new tab washer and loctite when you install the nut again.

Thanks Steve,
Got into it today and found that the clutch nut was indeed tight and that the problem probably occured during the PO ownership and was corrected.
I guess I am just now getting the remains of what was in there. A couple more oil changes and I should see it clearing up.
