Forged Pistons for GT

Has anybody used J&E pistons 81 mm for 750 rebuild and what type of
Bike were they originaly made for. I got a set several years ago from a 750 yamaha and found they have 20mm wrist pins not 22 like my duck

Hi Gerard
80 and 81 mm pistons are most likely for the Yamaha XS 650 twin
with these pistons you could make a 750 out of a 650
Yamaha used 20 and 22 mm wrist pins tru the various years as the
production of these bikes lasted a very long time
i have no idea of these pistons would fit a Ducati as there a things like
valve angles , compression height

Gerard, Contact Malcome at Syd's cycles in st. pete Fla. They have a nice set of sport style pistons available.I believe they are about 020'' in oversize.

I got the Sport pistons from Syd's in my GT, they've worked out fine.
