GTS 900 Gear Box

Post by Rich79 »

Hi just got back on the saddle after a long stretch, but on another Duc of course. Have a 79 GTS 900 runs smooth real pleasure to ride but find it difficult to find neutral when motors running, runs through the gears with ease, but when at traffic lights etc I sit there with the clucth in. Just wondering if anybody has experienced the same problem and knows how to fix it. I thought maybe replacing the 6 springs that holds the pressure plate could help?

sounds like your clutch is not adjusted correctly.......

time to remove all the rods, ball etc, clean and lube, then properly adjust the clutch actuator arm etc. Yes new springs can benefit as well.
