Help changing countershaft oil seal

Post by Geoff »

Has anyone got a procedure (or experience) for changing out the large countershaft oil seal behind the sprocket on a bevel twin? Hopefully it can be achieved externally!

Similarly, is it possible to change the gear selector shaft oil seal externally?

(I know you sell 'em Steve, so what's the scoop?!)

Cheers and thanks

To pick up on an old thread which was very useful, does anyone know the sizes of the two oil seals at the sprocket (mine's a 1980 MHR) ?. I can see the part numbers but no mention of the seal sizes.
