wiseco pistons

Post by big phil »

hello all.
just got back from mugello italy moto gp.hmmmm
anyway, i want to know if anyone has tried to use wiseco forged pistons in thier bevels.i ordered a set as wiseco advertise them for darmah/ss.when they arrived i found that they are 100grams heavier each than the originals and they have a domed head so are high compression pistons.
will i still be able to kick start the thing on normal unleaded without breaking my leg or will i need to run avgas, which would be highly impracticle for a street bike??

I have experiencie whith Wiseco pistons in Darmah. Like you said, they are 100 gr heavier and for that reason, there ara more vibrations
Road & Race, in Australia, have pistons with correct weight, Wiseco too
