1964 250 Scrambler

Post by minermike2003 »

I have just acquired what I believe to be a '64 250 narrow case Scrambler. The Bike was a Barn find, and seems to be complete. The engine # is DM250-89001. I can't however, seem to locate the Frame #. The Bike has good compression, and I would like to restore it if it is advisable. Any help you can provide, as to finding the frame#, or the history of this Bike would be appreciated. It was owned by the same fellow for about 30 years. Thanks Much, Mike.

I believe there were no frame numbers on the Ducs in the US. Berliner (the importer) would put a foil tag on the frame.
